Overview
The Raymarine E70364-00-NAG is an Axiom 7 DV multifunction display with a 7-inch touchscreen, built-in DownVision sonar, and Navionics+ US and Canada charts, supplied without a transducer. It gives a helm or secondary station a compact chartplotter and fishfinder display in one unit, with LightHouse 3 software, quad-core processing, and a buttonless all-glass front that works well in flush, surface, bracket, or rear-mount installations.
The display uses an optically bonded 800 x 480 WQVGA screen and carries IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings, so it is built for exposed helm areas where spray, rain, and washdowns are part of normal use. Built-in GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou with a 10 Hz, 72-channel receiver, giving the unit its own position source for navigation when installed with a suitable view of the sky.
This model includes DownVision sonar capability and a 600 W sonar output, but no transducer is included. It is a practical match for owners who already have a compatible transducer plan, are replacing or expanding an Axiom setup, or want a display that can grow into radar, autopilot, engine data, cameras, audio, and other Raymarine networked systems.
Key features
- 7-inch all-glass touchscreen with 800 x 480 WQVGA resolution for charting, sonar, radar, and system data in a compact helm footprint.
- Built-in DownVision sonar and 600 W sonar support for bottom detail and fishfinding when paired with a compatible transducer.
- Navionics+ US and Canada charts included for coastal and inland navigation coverage in North America.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings for use at exposed helm stations, flybridges, center consoles, and cockpit-mounted electronics panels.
- LightHouse 3 operating system with a customizable home screen, swipe control, and touchscreen navigation.
- RayNet Ethernet and NMEA 2000 / SeaTalkng integration for adding compatible Raymarine radar, instruments, engine data, autopilot control, cameras, and audio systems.
- Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connection with compatible Raymarine mobile apps and onboard wireless functions.
- Built-in GNSS receiver with GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou support for position data without a separate GPS antenna in many installations.
- Multiple mounting options, including trunnion, surface, flush, top, and rear mounting, to suit different helm layouts.
- 12 V / 24 V DC system support with an input range of 10.8 V DC to 31.2 V DC.
Installation and setup
The Axiom 7 DV can be mounted on the supplied trunnion bracket for an adjustable helm installation or fitted into a dash panel for a lower-profile look. The panel gasket, studs, and thumb nuts support surface or flush mounting, which is useful on center consoles, pilothouse dashboards, and sailboat nav stations where space is tight.
Plan the installation around screen visibility, cable access, and the GPS receiver location. Like any display with an internal antenna, it works best where the top of the unit has a clear path to the sky, especially on hardtop boats or installations below a windshield frame. Leave enough clearance behind the unit for the power, NMEA 2000, network, and transducer connections.
Electrical and network integration
The included Power/NMEA 2000 cable combines a 1.5 m power lead with a 0.5 m NMEA 2000 lead, helping keep the back of the display cleaner during installation. It can connect with NMEA 2000 and SeaTalkng compatible devices, so the display can show supported data from engines, instruments, AIS, audio equipment, and other onboard electronics when the proper network backbone and interfaces are in place.
RayNet Ethernet gives the display room to expand beyond basic chartplotting. It can be used as part of a larger Raymarine system with compatible Quantum or HD radar, IP cameras, external CHIRP sonar modules, FLIR thermal cameras, Evolution autopilot, and additional Axiom displays.
Sonar, charts, and on-board use
The built-in DownVision capability makes this unit useful for fishing boats and cruising boats that need a display for both navigation and bottom detail. Since this package does not include a transducer, the final sonar performance depends on the compatible transducer selected and how it is mounted on the vessel.
Navionics+ US and Canada chart coverage makes the unit suitable for coastal cruising, inland lake use, and fishing trips where chart detail and route planning matter. The 7-inch size fits smaller helms well, but it also works as a secondary display on larger boats where radar, camera, engine, or autopilot pages need to be visible from another station.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and spray from the display with fresh water after use, then wipe the screen with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, as the touchscreen and all-glass front should be kept clean without scratching the surface. Check that cables remain supported and that the mounting hardware stays tight after heavy running, trailering, or long periods of vibration.
