Water in gasoline tanks can cause early wear, poor performance, and component damage if ethanol-blended fuels are used. Sea Star fuel filters are engineered to extract 99 percent of emulsified water from gasoline. Contaminants more extensive than 10 microns can cause significant damage to today's close tolerance fuel pumps and injectors.
