Overview
The Garmin 010-11814-10 is a USB charging and data cable with a clip-style cradle for compatible wrist-worn devices such as fenix, fenix 2, quatix, tactix, and D2.
Plug the USB Type-A end into a computer or a 5 V USB power source, then seat the watch into the cradle to recharge. When connected to a computer, the same cable can also be used to move stored data such as waypoints, routes, and tracks between the device and your computer.
On board, it is a straightforward spare to keep at the nav station or in a travel bag so your watch can charge from a USB outlet without tying up your primary cable.
Key features
- Clip-style cradle connection for the compatible fenix, fenix 2, quatix, tactix, and D2 device family
- Standard USB Type-A plug for computers, USB power adapters, and USB outlets
- Supports both charging and USB data transfer for waypoints, routes, and tracks
- Useful as a dedicated cable for the helm, nav station, or travel kit
Compatibility and fit
This cable matches the clip-style charging and data interface used on the compatible models listed above. If your device is a different generation, confirm the connector style before ordering since Garmin uses different cradles across product lines.
Charging and data transfer on board
For charging, plug the USB end into a laptop, a USB wall adapter, or a regulated USB outlet fed from your boat’s 12 V or 24 V system. Keep the device seated flat in the cradle so the contacts stay aligned while the boat is moving.
For data transfer, connect to a computer and leave the watch in place until the sync is complete.
Care in a marine environment
Salt residue around the cradle contacts can interrupt charging over time. After exposure to spray, rinse the cradle with fresh water, dry it fully, and avoid charging while the contacts are wet.
Route the cable so it is not pulled tight at the cradle, and store it out of direct sun when it is not in use.
Who this is for
This cable fits boaters who rely on a compatible quatix watch or the related fenix, tactix, and D2 models and want a spare charging and sync lead that can stay on the boat.
