Description
Description
Overview
The Vimar Eikon is an interchangeable 1-module rocker button cover used to finish the front of compatible Eikon switch or push-button mechanisms.
It mounts with a clamp fit and keeps a low profile on the panel. The face is about 22 mm wide and 44.2 mm high, with roughly 6 mm depth, which helps when you are lining up multiple controls in a tight helm console or cabin switch bank. A monitoring window/light outlet is built into the rocker so indicator or backlighting can shine through when the underlying device supports it.
This part is rated IP40, so it is intended for protected interior locations. On boats it is typically installed behind a dash, in the cabin, or inside an enclosed switch panel rather than in areas that take direct spray or washdowns. The rocker itself is thermoplastic, halogen-free, and finished with a matt surface.
Key features
- Interchangeable 1-module rocker button cover for the Vimar Eikon system
- Clamp mounting onto the compatible Eikon switch or push-button insert
- Approximate face size: 22 mm wide by 44.2 mm high, with roughly 6 mm depth
- Monitoring window/light outlet for indicator or backlighting to show through
- Thermoplastic body that is halogen-free, with a matt surface finish
- IP40 protection for sheltered interior panels
- Color options aligned to RAL 7024 (Grey), RAL 9022 (Silver), and RAL 9016 (White)
- Face style options include a plain rocker or a lightable PRESS marking, depending on the configuration
Variants
This range keeps the same Eikon 1M rocker format while changing the visible finish and the front marking.
Configurations vary by color (Grey, Silver, or White) and by symbol style (plain face or a lightable PRESS marking). Dimensions, clamp mounting, and IP40 rating remain consistent across the range.
Compatibility and fit
This is a control element/cover plate, not the electrical switching mechanism. It is intended to be used with Vimar Eikon 1-module switch or push-button inserts and the matching Eikon mounting hardware. It is not intended for touch sensor connector use on a bus system, and it does not determine 12V or 24V suitability since voltage is set by the installed mechanism and circuit.
Installation and on-board placement
Install the switch or push-button insert first, then align the rocker and press it into place until the clamp mount engages. If you use a lit symbol or indicator behind the rocker, keep the monitoring window area clean so light can pass through clearly.
For marine installs, place it where it stays dry and protected, such as a cabin panel, nav station, or inside an enclosed helm console. If the switch bank is exposed to spray, use a sealed enclosure or a higher ingress-rated front end for that location.
Who it suits
This is a good match for boats already built around the Vimar Eikon system where you want consistent rocker styling across lighting and accessory circuits. It also suits installs where a PRESS-marked control that can be found in low light matters, without changing the underlying switch mechanism.

Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
