Overview
The Vimar Arké 19257 SICURY socket outlet is a 13A, 250V multistandard outlet for flush-mounted installations in the Arké 2-module format. It uses screw terminals, includes enhanced contact protection, and measures 44.8 x 49 x 28.2 mm, which helps when matching it to an existing switch or outlet layout on board.
For a boat, this type of outlet makes sense in protected interior spaces such as the cabin, galley, berth area, or enclosed helm console where an AC outlet is needed and the panel already uses the Arké system. The IP20 rating points it toward dry, sheltered locations rather than exposed deck or washdown areas.
Across this range, the electrical format stays the same while the visible finish changes between grey, white, and metal-look versions. That makes it easier to match the outlet to the rest of the switch plates and cabin trim without changing the basic installation format.
Key features
- 13A, 250V multistandard socket outlet for AC installations that need a compact wall or panel device.
- 2-module Arké format for matching existing Vimar Arké modular panels and faceplate layouts.
- Flush-mounted body with screw-terminal connection for fixed wiring behind the panel.
- SICURY enhanced contact protection for added finger-safe use in living spaces on board.
- IP20 construction for protected interior locations where the outlet is kept away from spray and washdowns.
- Thermoplastic body that is halogen-free, with a matt surface finish across the range.
Variants
This product is offered in multiple color configurations within the same Arké 19257 SICURY outlet family.
The confirmed differences between these variants are the visible finish and color. The 13A 250V rating, 2-module format, flush-mounted installation, screw-terminal connection, and SICURY contact protection remain the same across the listed versions.
- VM19257.B: White. This finish works well on light-colored cabin liners, white switch surrounds, and clean interior panel layouts.
- VM19257.M: Metal. This version gives the outlet a metal-look appearance that suits darker trim, modern helm panels, and interiors with brushed or satin accents.
- VM19257: Grey. This finish blends more quietly into grey switch ranges and darker panel sections where a lower-contrast look is preferred.
Installation and fit
This outlet is built for flush mounting and uses a screw-terminal connection, so it suits permanent wiring where the back of the panel remains accessible during installation. Before ordering, it is worth checking that your vessel uses the Vimar Arké modular system and that the cutout, support, and cover plate arrangement are set up for a 2-module device.
On refit jobs, the dimensions can help confirm spacing behind the panel, especially where the outlet will share a frame with switches or other modular devices. In a marine interior, it is best placed where the outlet stays dry and protected from direct spray, condensation buildup, and routine washdowns.
Use on board
This outlet is a good match for boats with protected interior AC points for small appliances, chargers, and general cabin power within a 13A, 250V circuit. It fits best on cruising boats, motor yachts, and sailboats where the cabin electrical fit-out uses modular wall devices rather than weather-exposed deck fittings.

Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
