Description
Overview
The Imtra ILDMS-1200-X is a DMS-1200 universal low-voltage LED dimmer that provides adjustable brightness and on/off control for compatible marine lighting systems. Operating on a 6-30VDC power supply with a maximum output capacity of 12A, it uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) to control dimmable LED fixtures, strips, and compatible incandescent or halogen lighting.
The module supports several control methods, including single or dual momentary switches, potentiometers, and 0-10V control signals from compatible lighting management systems. Its adjustable minimum brightness setting helps accommodate different LED loads, while integrated electrical protections address overload, overheating, and short-circuit conditions.
Key features
12A maximum output capacity, supporting up to 144W at 12VDC or 288W at 24VDC.
6-30VDC power input for low-voltage lighting systems.
0-100% PWM dimming range with adjustable minimum brightness.
Supports momentary pushbutton, up/down switch, potentiometer, and 0-10V control.
Integrated short-circuit, overload, and overheating protection.
Screw-terminal electrical connections accommodate conductors up to 14 AWG.
Compact housing measuring 96 x 40 x 20 mm.
Installation and setup
The dimmer can be secured using screws, double-sided tape, or cable ties in a dry location within its specified operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. Installation near the connected lighting fixtures helps minimize output wiring length. Wiring must follow the applicable control configuration and electrical installation requirements.
Momentary switches provide direct on/off and brightness adjustment, while a compatible 0-10V controller or potentiometer allows the lighting level to follow an external control signal. When integrating a 0-10V control system, its negative control connection must remain isolated from the power supply negative as specified in the wiring instructions.
Lighting compatibility
The DMS-1200 is suitable for compatible constant-voltage LED lighting circuits, including dimmable lamps and LED strips, as well as supported low-voltage incandescent and halogen loads. Fixture compatibility, operating voltage, and total connected current should be verified before installation to ensure the lighting load remains within the dimmer's electrical limits.

Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
