Description
Overview
The Blue Sea Systems Contura Switch Actuator is a replacement rocker actuator for Blue Sea Systems Contura switches, used to finish the front of the switch and match the lens layout to the switch’s embedded LEDs.
This actuator mounts on any Blue Sea Systems Contura switch and is made from thermoplastic polycarbonate with a hard nylon surface overlay. The lens count matters because each embedded LED on the switch body needs the matching number of lenses in the actuator face.
It is a practical part for refitting a helm, electrical panel, cockpit switch bank, or cabin control panel where the switch body is already in place and the visible actuator needs to match the panel color and indicator-light layout.
Key features
- Fits Blue Sea Systems Contura switches, making it suitable for panel repairs, refits, and switch face replacement.
- Thermoplastic polycarbonate construction with a hard nylon surface overlay for use on marine switch panels.
- Available with no lens, one lens, or two lenses to match the number of embedded LEDs in the switch body.
- Black and gray color options help keep a helm, dash, or DC distribution panel visually consistent.
- Actuator-only format lets the visible rocker face be changed without replacing the complete switch assembly when the existing switch body is still serviceable.
Variants
This Contura actuator range varies by color and lens count. The available colors are black and gray, and the lens options are no lens, one lens, or two lenses.
The lens option should match the embedded LED layout of the Contura switch body already installed in the panel. A no-lens actuator is used where the switch face does not need an indicator window, while one-lens and two-lens versions align with switches that have one or two embedded LEDs.
Compatibility and fit
This actuator is for Blue Sea Systems Contura switches. It is not a standalone electrical switch, and it should be matched with the correct Contura switch body before installation.
For refits, check the existing actuator color and lens layout before ordering. Matching these details helps preserve the look of the switch bank and keeps the LED indication visible where the switch body includes lighting.
Use cases on board
This part suits boat owners, installers, and technicians working on DC switch panels, helm controls, cockpit panels, and cabin switch banks that use Blue Sea Systems Contura hardware.
It is especially useful during panel cleanups where the electrical switch function remains correct, but the visible actuator needs to be replaced because of wear, labeling changes, color matching, or a different LED lens requirement.

Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
