Description
Overview
The Raymarine E70305 is a 12-way Caterpillar loom cable for connecting a Raymarine ECI-100 engine interface to compatible Caterpillar engine systems so engine data can be shown on Raymarine multifunction displays.
This is an engine-integration cable, not a general network patch lead. It belongs in installations where the ECI-100 is being used as the bridge between Caterpillar engine data and the Raymarine helm electronics, helping bring key engine information onto the MFD screen where it can be monitored underway.
Key features
- 12-way Caterpillar loom cable for Raymarine ECI-100 engine interface installations.
- Connects the ECI-100 to compatible Caterpillar engines for engine data display on Raymarine MFDs.
- Useful for helm upgrades where engine information is being integrated into the navigation display rather than viewed only on separate gauges.
- Engine-specific cable format helps keep the ECI-100 installation cleaner than adapting a generic cable in the engine or helm area.
- Matches Raymarine ECI-100 Caterpillar integration requirements, helping installers order the correct cable for this application.
Installation and setup
Use this cable as part of a planned ECI-100 installation on a compatible Caterpillar engine system. The cable should be routed with the same care as other engine-room and helm electronics wiring, avoiding sharp edges, hot surfaces, moving parts, and areas where service access could strain the connection.
Before installation, confirm the engine system, ECI-100 unit, and Raymarine MFD software are suitable for Caterpillar engine data integration. Final connection and configuration should follow the vessel wiring plan so engine data is carried into the Raymarine display system without adding unnecessary joins or unsupported adapters.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is application-specific for Raymarine ECI-100 to Caterpillar engine connections. It is a good match for boats already using Raymarine multifunction displays where the owner or installer wants Caterpillar engine information available at the helm alongside navigation, radar, sonar, and other vessel data.
Because engine interface layouts can vary by vessel and engine package, the cable should be checked against the exact Caterpillar engine installation and the ECI-100 connection plan before purchase. It should not be selected as a substitute for SeaTalkng, RayNet, NMEA 2000 backbone, or standard Ethernet network cabling.

After your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-7 business days to appear after processing. Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable, and the value of any included free items that are not returned may be deducted from the refund. Apollo Lighting does not charge a standard restocking fee on eligible returns. Returns that are incomplete, damaged, installed, used, altered, improperly packaged, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility requirements may be refused. Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
