Description

Advanced High-Wide CHIRP Technology for Superior Marine Performance

The Airmar M285C-HW CHIRP In-Hull Transducer is designed for anglers who demand precision and reliability in both offshore and inshore waters. With a high-frequency CHIRP range of 150-250 kHz and a 25-degree fixed beamwidth, this transducer delivers exceptional target resolution, making it ideal for detecting fish and underwater structures in depths up to 700 feet. Whether you’re fishing in freshwater or saltwater, its powerful 1 kW output ensures superior clarity and depth penetration.

The in-hull installation provides a sleek, low-maintenance solution, eliminating any external protrusions on the boat’s hull. This makes it perfect for trailered or lifted boats, particularly those up to 25 feet with solid-core fiberglass hulls. The transducer sits inside a liquid-filled urethane housing, ensuring optimal signal transmission through fiberglass while maintaining a streamlined exterior.

Precision CHIRP Technology for Clearer Imaging

Equipped with high-wide CHIRP technology, the M285C-HW enhances target separation and detail in shallow to medium depths. Its advanced signal processing provides sharper images of fish schools and bottom structures, making it an essential tool for serious anglers.

Rugged and Reliable In-Hull Installation

The M285C-HW features a urethane housing filled with eco-friendly anti-freeze, providing a durable and effective medium for signal transmission. The transducer is inserted into the housing and adjusted for the correct dead rise offset, ensuring the beam is directed straight down for optimal performance.

Product warranty

Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.

If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.

Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
