Description
Overview
The Raymarine E15017 is a bulkhead fitting kit for attaching a Raymarine 4000 Mk2 Wheel Drive to a helm installation. It is used when the wheel drive needs to be mounted through a bulkhead or box pedestal rather than in a more open pedestal arrangement.
This kit is a practical installation accessory for sailboats using the Raymarine 4000 Mk2 wheel pilot system. It helps create the correct mounting interface at the helm, keeping the wheel drive positioned where it can engage properly while keeping the installation tidy around the pedestal or cockpit bulkhead.
Key features
- Made for Raymarine 4000 Mk2 Wheel Drive installations.
- Supports bulkhead or box pedestal mounting at the helm.
- Useful for cockpit layouts where the wheel drive must pass through or mount against a fixed surface.
- Helps keep the autopilot drive installation properly supported and visually cleaner around the steering pedestal.
- Includes the hardware needed for the fitting installation, including a bracket, metal ring, rubber seal, and six self-tapping screws.
Installation and fit
This fitting kit is intended for the mechanical mounting side of a Raymarine 4000 Mk2 Wheel Drive installation. Before ordering, confirm that the vessel is using the 4000 Mk2 wheel drive and that the helm layout calls for a bulkhead or box pedestal fitting rather than a standard open pedestal setup.
Because cockpit installations are exposed to movement, vibration, spray, and regular use at the wheel, the mounting surface should be sound and properly prepared before the fitting is installed. Careful alignment matters, since the wheel drive needs to sit squarely and operate without binding.
Use cases on board
This kit is a good match for sailboat owners refitting or repairing a Raymarine 4000 Mk2 wheel pilot installation where the drive is mounted at a pedestal, cockpit box, or bulkhead-style helm. It is also useful when replacing missing or worn mounting hardware during an autopilot service or cockpit refit.

After your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-7 business days to appear after processing. Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable, and the value of any included free items that are not returned may be deducted from the refund. Apollo Lighting does not charge a standard restocking fee on eligible returns. Returns that are incomplete, damaged, installed, used, altered, improperly packaged, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility requirements may be refused. Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
