Description
Description
Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20013 is a flush-mounted 1P 16AX reversing switch for 250 V circuits, with a replaceable rocker and optional illumination. It is the switch type used when one AC light or circuit needs control from three or more points, and it is rated for self-ballasted lamps up to 200 W.
For boat refit work, this switch fits protected interior areas where a clean wall or panel installation matters and where the circuit is not exposed to spray. The body is IP40, uses screw terminals, and measures 36.15 mm deep with a 25.00 mm built-in depth, so it is worth checking back-box space before final assembly.
The Eikon format also helps keep switch banks visually consistent across cabins, companionways, and other enclosed living spaces. This is a mains-voltage switch family rather than a 12V or 24V network control product, so it should be matched to the vessel's AC installation and the correct Eikon support hardware.
Key features
- 1P 16AX reversing switch rated at 250 V for multi-location AC switching circuits
- Supports self-ballasted lamp loads up to 200 W
- Optional exchangeable LED lighting for control and orientation
- Flush-mounted body with snap engagement and screw terminal connection
- IP40 protection for enclosed, protected mounting areas
- Halogen-free thermoplastic body with a matt finish and label space
- Available in grey, silver, and white, with 1-module or 2-module width depending on the version
Variants
This range varies by face color and module width. Grey, silver, and white finishes are offered, and each color is available in both 1-module and 2-module versions so the switch can match the frame layout already planned for the panel.
Across the range, the switch function stays the same: 1P 16AX, 250 V, lightable operation with an exchangeable LED, screw terminal connection, flush mounting, and IP40 protection. The 1-module versions are 22.30 mm wide and the 2-module versions are 44.80 mm wide, while height stays 49.00 mm and overall depth stays 36.15 mm.
Compatibility and fit
This switch suits enclosed parts of the boat such as cabins, passageways, nav stations, and other interior spaces where the installation is kept dry and protected. It is not the right match for open deck positions, helm areas exposed to weather, or washdown zones where a sealed switch body is needed.
Before ordering, check the required module width and confirm that the surrounding frame, support, and box layout are part of the Vimar Eikon system. No mounting plate is included, so this product should be treated as the switch device within a complete Eikon assembly.
Installation and setup
Installation uses a snap-in mounting method and screw terminals, which keeps wiring straightforward for panel builds and refit work. The built-in depth of 25.00 mm helps in tighter bulkheads and joinery, but it is still worth confirming conductor space behind the device, especially where multiple switches share one box.
Optional illumination can be added when you want easier switch location in low light. That can be useful in accommodation spaces and companionway routes where night access matters, while keeping the face style consistent with the rest of the Eikon panel.

Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
