Description
Overview
The Raymarine R70439 is a transom mounting kit for Raymarine CPT-DV and CPT-DVS transducers. It gives the compatible transducer a proper mounting point at the stern, where clean water flow across the face of the transducer is critical for steady sonar and DownVision readings.
This is a replacement or service mounting bracket kit for boats that already use a CPT-DV or CPT-DVS transom-mount setup. It is a practical part to keep on hand when repairing a damaged bracket, refreshing older hardware, or moving a compatible transducer during a refit.
Key features
- Made for Raymarine CPT-DV and CPT-DVS transducers, so fitment should be checked against those transducer models before ordering.
- Transom-mount format for stern installations on boats with a suitable mounting surface and access for transducer cable routing.
- Useful as a replacement mounting kit when the original transom bracket is worn, damaged, or missing.
- Helps position the transducer at the hull edge where water flow and mounting angle affect sonar performance.
- Small service part with a listed package weight of about 0.2 lb, making it easy to store aboard as spare mounting hardware.
Installation and fit
Before installation, confirm that the transducer is a CPT-DV or CPT-DVS model and that the transom location has enough clearance from strakes, steps, trim tabs, propeller wash, and trailer bunks. A clean mounting position helps the transducer stay in contact with smooth water when the boat is underway.
When replacing an existing bracket, compare the old mount position before drilling or reusing holes. Seal any fastener holes properly for the hull material, and route the transducer cable so it is protected from chafe, sharp bends, and moving gear in the stern area.
Use on board
This mounting kit is a good match for owners maintaining a Raymarine sonar installation on fishing boats, small cruisers, and other vessels that use a compatible transom-mounted CPT-DV or CPT-DVS transducer. It is especially useful during electronics service work where the transducer is still functional but the mounting bracket needs replacement.

Apollo Lighting does not charge a standard restocking fee on eligible returns. Returns that are incomplete, damaged, installed, used, altered, improperly packaged, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility requirements may be refused. Product warranty
Product warranty
Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.
If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.
Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
