Description

Overview

The Raymarine R70615 is a replacement locking collar kit for Raymarine RealVision 25-pin transducer cable connections. It is used where the collar on a RealVision cable connector needs to be replaced, refitted, or kept as a spare during electronics installation work.

This collar is part of the mechanical connection between a RealVision 3D transducer cable and the matching 25-pin RealVision transducer port. Once the connector is correctly oriented and fully seated, the collar is turned clockwise to lock the cable in place, helping keep the connection secure behind the display or sonar module.

For boat owners, installers, and service technicians, this is a small but important part when routing transducer cables through bulkheads, consoles, or helm stations. It is especially useful during refits, cable re-runs, and repairs where the original locking collar is missing or damaged.

Key features
  • Fits Raymarine RealVision 25-pin transducer cable connections.
  • Replacement collar kit for securing the cable connector at the RealVision transducer port.
  • Useful when a transducer cable has been routed through bulkheads and the locking collar needs to be installed or replaced afterward.
  • Supports a proper mechanical connection by allowing the cable connector to be locked after it is fully seated.
  • Compact spare part for helm electronics service kits, refits, and onboard troubleshooting.
Installation and setup

Before working on the transducer connection, power down the connected display or sonar module. Check the cable connector orientation, push the connector fully into the matching RealVision 25-pin port, then turn the locking collar clockwise until the connection is secure.

This part is most often handled behind the helm, inside an electronics box, or near a sonar module, where access can be tight. Leaving enough service loop in the cable makes it easier to seat the connector correctly and avoid strain on the cable while tightening the collar.

Compatibility and fit

This kit is for Raymarine RealVision 25-pin cable connections. It is not a general GPS mount, power connector, or NMEA network part. Match it to the RealVision 25-pin transducer connection on the boat before ordering, especially when servicing mixed electronics systems or older installations.

Use cases on board

This is a practical spare for boats running Raymarine RealVision sonar where transducer cables pass through consoles, lockers, or bulkheads during installation. It suits owners and installers who need to restore the locking function of the cable connection without replacing the full transducer cable.

Product warranty

Many products sold by Apollo Lighting include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand, product category, and model, so eligibility, coverage duration, exclusions, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. We recommend reviewing the warranty information provided with your product before installation or use, especially for marine electronics, navigation equipment, lighting, electrical systems, pumps, safety equipment, and other specialized marine products.

If you need warranty service, the claim must follow the process established by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or designated warranty provider. You may be asked for proof of purchase, a serial number, product registration, photos, maintenance or installation records, or other documentation. Apollo Lighting does not determine or modify a manufacturer's warranty coverage or final claim decision, but we are happy to help provide purchase information and direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or warranty resource.

Keep your receipt, product documentation, serial number information, and original packaging when practical. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, corrosion, impact, unauthorized modifications, electrical issues, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered. Warranty claims are separate from standard returns, so a product that has been installed, used, or exposed to marine conditions may no longer qualify for return while still remaining eligible for evaluation under the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
