The Perko 1045P00DP is a 2-pin plug-in pole light base for Perko removable navigation and anchor light poles. It gives the pole a straight 0° rake and uses a round 2-1/4 inch outside-diameter base, making it a practical replacement point for many existing two-contact pole light installations on small boats.

The base combines a chrome-plated metal face with a black polymer insert, pigtail wire leads, and a waterproof snap-on cover that helps protect the socket when the pole light is not installed. It fits 3/4 inch poles with a locking collar and is commonly used for all-round stern, anchor, and bi-color pole light setups where the light is removed for trailering, storage, or daytime use.

Compatibility and fit

This base is made for Perko 2-pin pole light applications, including many Perko all-round pole light series such as 1343, 1347, 1348, 1349, 1400, 1440, 1442, 1450, 1451, 1452, 1454, 1460, and 1470, as well as Perko 1612 and 1616 series bi-color pole lights. Before ordering, match the pole’s pin count, collar style, pole diameter, and base footprint against the existing installation.

Installation and setup

The base installs through a flat mounting surface and connects below deck through the attached pigtail leads. It is suited to stern, bow, deck, or gunwale locations where a removable navigation light needs a firm socket and a covered receptacle when the light is stowed. The three mounting fasteners should be selected for the boat’s mounting surface and sealed properly to reduce water intrusion around the screw holes.
