Compatibility and fit

This light is set up for nominal 12V systems out of the box. It can also be used on certain 24V replacement applications when fitted with the correct 24V bulb, which matters if you are matching an existing incandescent navigation-light setup rather than changing the whole circuit.

It is a good match for boats that need a low, fixed stern light at the transom or aft deck edge. The compact body helps in spots where a taller fixture would be more exposed to lines, covers, or foot traffic.

Installation and setup

The fixture mounts on a horizontal surface. Installation uses three holes for #4 screws and a 1/4 in hole for wire clearance. Getting the orientation right matters, so the base and top need to be aligned correctly with the boat centerline during fitting.

The stainless steel top and polymer base suit exposed mounting areas that see spray and routine washdowns. For a clean install, confirm the available flat area against the 2-3/8 in base size before drilling.
