Compatibility and fit
Fit depends on the rest of the assembly being based on Arké 1-module parts. This cover plate is meant to sit over the matching Arké support and device, so it is worth checking the existing frame and insert before ordering, especially on refit work where different Vimar series may look similar but do not share the same front pieces.
Within the Arké system, 1-module supports are available for standard round boxes, British standard boxes, and panel mounting. That gives the cover plate some flexibility across custom boat interiors, console panels, and accommodation spaces, as long as the underlying support belongs to the same family.
Installation and onboard use
The front can be oriented horizontally or vertically, which helps when a single control point needs to line up with the surrounding joinery or instrument panel layout. Because the cover plate itself carries an IP00 classification, it belongs in dry, protected areas rather than exposed deck faces or locations that see direct washdown.
