Overview

The Lumitec 101525 is a Mantis underwater dock lighting system with 2,000-lumen output, full-color RGBW control, and a 6500K white setting.

It is meant for fully submerged mounting on dock pilings or seawalls, putting usable light right at the slip face for nighttime tie-ups, ladder visibility, and general dockside awareness after dark.

Each Mantis dock lighting kit supports up to four lights on a single system. A standard setup starts as a three-light package and can be expanded by adding one additional light, with a four-light maximum per kit.

Installation and setup

Plan the light spacing so the beams overlap without hot spots, then mount the fixtures to the piling or seawall at a consistent depth. Keep cable runs protected from chafe at edges and hardware, and route everything to a dry service area where connections can stay out of standing water.

On working docks, mount with enough clearance to avoid routine impacts from fenders, floating debris, and lines. Leave a small service loop where practical so a fixture can be pulled for cleaning without re-running the entire cable.

Electrical and system integration

These lights are used on low-voltage DC systems. Confirm your supply, switching, and any control hardware match the Mantis system requirements before finalizing the wiring path. Use marine-grade practices for overcurrent protection, strain relief, and keeping splices and terminations in a dry, accessible location.
