The Perko 1123/1124 Combination Masthead and White All-Round Light is a 12V plug-in navigation light for sail or power driven vessels under 20 meters, or 65.6 ft, in length. It combines a masthead light for use while underway with a white all-round anchor light function in one removable pole-style fixture.

This light uses two separate compartments for masthead and anchor lighting, with 10 watt bulbs in each compartment and 3 nautical mile USCG-certified visibility. The 3/4" diameter anodized pole has a 45 degree rake, making the light suited for windshield mounting where a removable stow-a-way pole is preferred over a fixed light.

The range includes horizontal and vertical base layouts with different pole heights, so the buyer can match the fixture to the boat’s windshield angle, available mounting surface, and required light height above nearby structure.

Variants

This product is offered in four configurations that vary by mounting orientation and vertical height. Fig. 1123 models use a horizontal mount, while Fig. 1124 models use a vertical mount.

• 1123DP1CHR: Horizontal mount with 11-1/4" vertical height. This shorter horizontal-mount version suits installations where the long axis of the base needs to run across the mounting surface and a lower pole height clears surrounding structure.
• 1124DP1CHR: Vertical mount with 12-1/2" vertical height. This shorter vertical-mount version is for layouts where the pole tubing runs parallel with the base and the boat has limited clearance above the windshield area.
• 1123DP2CHR: Horizontal mount with 20-1/2" vertical height. This taller horizontal-mount version raises the light farther above the mounting surface for better clearance over windshield frames or nearby deck hardware.
• 1124DP2CHR: Vertical mount with 22" vertical height. This taller vertical-mount version gives the highest light position in the range while keeping the same plug-in base style for removal and storage.

Installation and setup

The fixture is intended for windshield-area mounting and includes an adapter for flat or V-type 45 degree windshield installations. Before drilling, confirm that the chosen location gives the light an unobstructed arc and keeps the pole clear of canvas, rails, antennas, and folding hardware.

The electrical setup uses separate masthead and anchor light functions. When wired correctly, the rear light cannot be activated independently, which helps maintain the intended navigation light behavior while underway and at anchor.

Compatibility and fit
