Overview

The Lopolight 301-009 series is a 2 NM red port sidelight for horizontal mounting, covering the 112.5° sector used for port-side navigation lighting on vessels up to 50 m (164 ft). It runs on 10 to 32 VDC for both 12 V and 24 V systems, with a 1.2 W draw (about 90 mA at 12 VDC and 50 mA at 24 VDC).

The FB (flat base) POM mounting system is built for horizontal surfaces where you want a clean footprint and a tidy cable exit. The assembly is rated IP68 and is built to stay sealed through spray, washdowns, and the vibration that comes with fast runs and rough water.

Housing diameter is Ø92.5 mm. Height depends on the stack style: single stack is 36 mm tall, and double stack is 58 mm tall.

Variants

This light is offered in multiple configurations to match the finish and the stack style at the mounting point.

Finish changes the look of the housing (silver or black). Style changes the overall height: single stack is 36 mm tall, and double stack is 58 mm tall.

• 301-009-FB: Finish Silver, Style Single Stack. The 36 mm height keeps the light low on the mounting surface, which helps when clearance is tight under rails or overhangs.
• 301-009-FB-B: Finish Black, Style Single Stack. The black finish reduces visual contrast on darker topsides while keeping the same low-profile height.
• 301-009ST-FB: Finish Silver, Style Double Stack. The 58 mm height can be useful when the mounting spot sits near coamings or other features that could shadow the lens line.
• 301-009ST-FB-B: Finish Black, Style Double Stack. Combines the taller stack with a black finish when you want the housing to blend in visually on deck.

Installation and setup

Mount the light on the port side so the lens has a clear view across the required arc, with no obstruction from rails, davits, canvas, or deck gear. For horizontal mounting, the FB base sits on a flat surface such as a cabin top, mounting pad, or deck edge. Take a moment to check sightlines from ahead and from the beam before drilling, since small changes in placement can avoid shadows later.

Route the cable where it will not chafe and use a watertight pass-through if the wiring enters the deck or cabin top. Plan a small service loop so the light can be lifted for inspection without pulling on the cable.

Electrical and compliance

Connect to a 10 to 32 VDC navigation-light circuit. With low current draw, it integrates cleanly with standard nav-light switches and monitoring setups without putting much load on the circuit.
