Overview

The Lopolight 301-008 Series is a 2 NM green starboard sidelight for horizontal mounting, supplied with the FB (flat base) POM mounting system and a 2.5 m shielded cable.

It runs on 10-32 VDC for typical 12V and 24V DC systems and carries an IP68 rating for exposed mounting locations. The body is Ø92.5 mm, and overall height depends on the stack style: 36 mm for single stack and 58 mm for double stack.

This is a good match when you need a compact sidelight on a pilothouse, hardtop, or coaming and want a centered cable exit through a flat mounting surface for a cleaner install.

Variants

This product is offered in multiple configurations to match the finish and the stacking style.

Across the range, the light output remains a 2 NM green starboard sidelight with 10-32 VDC input, IP68 rating, horizontal mounting, and a 2.5 m shielded cable. Differences between variants are the housing finish and whether the unit is single stack or double stack.

• 301-008-FB: Finish Silver, Style Single Stack. Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm footprint for standard starboard sidelight placement with a low overall height.
• 301-008-FB-B: Finish Black, Style Single Stack. Same size as the silver single stack, with a black anodized housing for darker topsides and hardtops.
• 301-008ST-FB: Finish Silver, Style Double Stack. Ø92.5 mm x 58 mm overall height, with two individual lights housed in one assembly that can be powered separately.
• 301-008ST-FB-B: Finish Black, Style Double Stack. Same double-stack format and height, with a black anodized housing.

Installation and setup

Mount the light on the starboard side where it has a clear view of the horizon across its 112.5 degree sector. The FB base is meant for a flat mounting surface and a centered cable pass-through, which helps keep the installation tidy on cabin sides, hardtops, and similar surfaces.

Power is 10-32 VDC. Plan routing so the cable is supported and protected where it enters the structure, and keep terminations dry and strain-relieved in lockers or behind panels.

Materials and corrosion resistance

The housing uses anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens and stainless steel fasteners, and the IP68 rating supports long-term exposure to spray, rain, and routine washdowns. Operating temperature is rated from -25°C to 55°C, which covers typical seasonal storage and offshore running conditions.
