The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a flush-mounted 3 RCA connector socket for audio and video signal connections in protected interior spaces. It uses screw terminals, fits a 1-module layout, and carries an IP20 rating, which places it in dry cabin areas, enclosed helm stations, saloons, and other panels that stay away from spray and washdowns.

This is a practical way to bring RCA connections out to a finished wall or console without loose adaptors or exposed wiring behind the panel. The body is thermoplastic and halogen-free, with a matt finish on all versions. Published dimensions are 49.00 mm high and 35.50 mm deep, with width varying slightly by finish.

On board, this type of insert makes sense where a stereo source, amplifier feed, or video line needs a fixed connection point inside the boat. Because the front is open and rated IP20, it is better suited to protected interiors than cockpits, wet lockers, or other exposed locations.

Variants

This product is offered in three color configurations within the same ARKÉ 3 RCA socket format.

Across the range, the connection type, flush-mounted 1-module body, screw terminals, thermoplastic construction, halogen-free material, and IP20 rating stay the same. The finish color changes between variants, and the published width differs slightly: 22.30 mm on the grey version and 22.20 mm on the metal and white versions.

• VM19335: Grey finish, RAL 7015, untreated matt surface. This version suits darker switch plates and interior panels where a lower-contrast look is preferred.
• VM19335.M: Metal finish, RAL 9007, lacquered matt surface. It gives the insert a metallic appearance that works well with modern helm and cabin trim.
• VM19335.B: White finish, RAL 9016, untreated matt surface. This version blends more easily into light-colored liners, bulkheads, and cabin furniture.

Installation and fit

This is a flush-mounted modular insert from the ARKÉ range, so it should be matched to the correct series support and cover arrangement already used on the panel. Before ordering, check the switch system on the boat and confirm you are working within the ARKÉ device family rather than mixing series.

The rear connection uses screw terminals, which suits fixed wiring runs behind a console or interior wall. Since the insert does not include strain relief, the cable should be secured behind the mounting point so vibration and movement are not carried by the terminal connection itself.

Use on board

This socket is a good match for boats with cabin entertainment systems, media lockers, or enclosed helm stations where RCA signal lines need a neat finish at the panel. It also makes sense during refits when loose RCA tails are being replaced with a built-in connection point that looks consistent with the rest of the switching range.
