Overview
The Jabsco 23095-0007-P is a replacement impeller for Ballast King 22610-Series ballast pumps. It fits the 12V Ballast King pump platform used in wakeboard and ski boat ballast systems, where one reversible pump fills or empties the tank.
For fit checks, the Ballast King pump family moves about 15 GPM (57 LPM), self-primes to 4 ft (1.2 m), and uses 1 in (25 mm) hose-barb or 1/2 in NPT internal ports on the pump body. A worn impeller usually shows up as slower ballast fill or drain times, weaker prime, or a pump that has been run dry and no longer moves water the way it should.
Key features
- Replacement impeller for Jabsco Ballast King 22610-Series pumps
- Fits the 12V Ballast King pump platform used to fill or empty ballast tanks through one reversible pump
- Made for the Ballast King pump family rated around 15 GPM (57 LPM) with self-priming to 4 ft (1.2 m)
- Matches Ballast King pumps with 1 in (25 mm) hose-barb or 1/2 in NPT internal ports on the pump body
- Useful service replacement when prime is weak, ballast transfer slows down, or the old impeller has been run dry
- Not the same replacement impeller used in Ballast Puppy or Ballast SuperKing pumps
Compatibility and fit
This replacement is for the Ballast King 22610-Series pump family rather than for every Jabsco ballast pump. Common pump numbers in this range include 22610-9007, 22610-9507, and 22610-9427, so matching the pump series on the unit is the safest way to confirm fit.
It is a sensible replacement for owners of wakeboard and ski boats who want to keep an existing Ballast King ballast circuit in service without changing the full pump assembly or plumbing layout.
Installation and service
When the pump is opened for service, inspect the end cover and O-ring area at the same time. The impeller should be lubricated during assembly, and the end cover screws on the Ballast King pump are tightened to 30 to 40 lbf.in (3.4 to 4.5 Nm).
The pump only self-primes properly when the suction side stays airtight, so it is worth checking hose connections, the inlet strainer, and any small leaks before blaming the impeller alone. On ballast systems that fill and empty through one reversible pump, this is the wear part most owners replace first when performance drops.
