Overview
The Jabsco SK880 is a service kit for Jabsco 50880 shower drain and bilge pumps. It fits 50880-1000 and 50880-1100 pumps, so it covers both the 12V and 24V versions used for shower drain, auxiliary bilge, and general drainage duty on board.
The matching 50880 pump platform uses 19 mm (3/4 in) or 25 mm (1 in) port connections and is self-priming to 3 m (10 ft), which makes correct service-kit fitment more useful than broad category matching. This kit focuses on the pump head service parts that typically get replaced during maintenance, so you can refresh the wet end without changing the full pump assembly.
Key features
- Fits Jabsco 50880-1000 and 50880-1100 diaphragm pumps
- Covers both 12V and 24V versions in the 50880 range
- Replaces core wet-end parts including the diaphragm, joker valves, and ports
- Lets you service the pump head instead of replacing the complete pump and motor assembly
- Matched to the 50880 pump layout that uses 19 mm (3/4 in) or 25 mm (1 in) port connections
Compatibility and fit
This kit is for the Jabsco 50880 series only. Before ordering, check the pump label and confirm the model is 50880-1000 or 50880-1100. It should not be treated as a universal rebuild kit for other Jabsco diaphragm pumps that may look similar once installed in a bilge compartment, shower sump space, or locker.
For boats that rely on a 50880 pump to clear shower drain water or handle light bilge and utility drainage, the SK880 gives you the parts normally changed when flow falls off, priming gets inconsistent, or valve sealing is no longer clean. That makes it a good fit for routine maintenance on cruising boats, fishing boats, and service craft already set up around this pump family.
Installation and service
When the pump goes back together, keep the suction side airtight and check hose condition at the same time. The 50880 pump uses multi-position ports, which helps when space is tight, and if the unit is mounted vertically the motor should sit above the pump head. On boats kept in saltwater, it also makes sense to inspect the surrounding wiring and motor area while the pump is apart, since corrosion around drainage equipment tends to show up long before a full failure.
