Overview
The Garmin 010-12233-03 is a bail mount with knobs for surface-mounting select echoMAP chartplotters, with a tilt adjustment that lets you set the screen angle at the helm.
It uses a quick cable disconnect setup so the wiring stays connected at the mount while the display can be seated and unseated without reworking plugs each time. This is handy when you cover the boat, trailer it, or bring the unit inside between trips.
Key features
- Bail-style surface mount with knob-adjusted tilt for quick viewing angle changes.
- Quick cable disconnect layout keeps connections at the mount for easier removal and re-install of the display.
- Matches the mount style supplied with compatible echoMAP DV/SV models.
- Useful when you want an above-surface bracket mount instead of a flush mount.
Variants
This item is a single, fixed configuration (no variants listed for this part number).
What's included
- Bail mount bracket
- Mounting knobs
Compatibility and fit
Compatible devices include echoMAP 73dv, 73sv, 74dv, 74sv, 93sv, and 94sv. If your echoMAP model is not listed, the cradle shape and connection layout may not match.
Installation and setup
Fasten the bracket to a solid, flat surface where you have clearance to tilt the unit and reach the knobs and connectors. Use marine-appropriate fasteners for your mounting material and consider backing support on thin panels.
Route cables with strain relief and a little slack so vibration and steering movement do not pull on the plugs. Once the cables are connected at the mount, the quick disconnect arrangement makes routine removal simpler when the boat is stored or transported.
Use on board
This mount suits open-console fishing boats, bay boats, and cruisers where the display is often removed between trips, and any helm setup where glare changes throughout the day and you want easy tilt adjustment while underway.
Maintenance and care
After washdowns or salt spray, rinse and wipe the bracket and knobs. Periodically check that the knobs stay snug before longer runs.
