Overview
The Jabsco 37010 Series Electric Toilet Motor is a replacement motor for Jabsco 37010 Series electric marine toilets, offered in 12V DC and 24V DC versions to match the boat’s onboard electrical system. It is the motor used in the electric flush and waste-handling side of the 37010 toilet, so voltage matching is the first fit check before ordering.
This part is meant for owners repairing an existing Jabsco 37010 electric head rather than replacing the full toilet. In the 37010 system, the electric toilet uses a self-priming flush pump and a macerator and scavenger pump arrangement, with 3/4 in inlet plumbing and 1 in discharge plumbing used on the toilet assembly. The replacement motor helps restore operation when the toilet’s motor has failed, slowed, or become unreliable under normal onboard use.
Key features
- Replacement motor for Jabsco 37010 Series electric marine toilets.
- Available in 12V DC and 24V DC versions for matching the vessel’s electrical system.
- Supports the electric toilet’s flush, macerator, and scavenger pump operation within the 37010 assembly.
- Useful for service work when the toilet bowl and base are still in place and the motor side needs renewal.
- Fits the marine sanitation use case where vibration, moisture, and regular flushing loads make correct replacement parts important.
Variants
This product is offered in two voltage configurations for the Jabsco 37010 Series electric toilet motor.
The voltage is the key difference between the variants. The fit and function are tied to the 37010 Series toilet application, but the motor voltage must match the boat’s DC system and the toilet originally installed on board.
- 37064-0000: 12V DC. This version is for 37010 Series toilet installations wired to a 12V DC supply.
- 37065-0000: 24V DC. This version is for 37010 Series toilet installations wired to a 24V DC supply.
Installation and fit
Before installation, check the existing toilet model and the voltage marked on the old motor or electrical system. A 12V motor should not be substituted into a 24V system, and a 24V motor should not be used on a 12V system. This is especially important on boats with mixed-voltage equipment or older sanitation wiring that may have been modified over time.
Access is usually around the toilet base and pump/motor area, so allow room to work around hoses, clamps, wiring, and the motor cover. Close the seacocks, isolate power, and relieve any water in the toilet plumbing before removing the failed motor. Inspect nearby seals, impellers, fasteners, and hose connections while the assembly is open, since worn service parts can affect flushing and discharge even after a new motor is fitted.
Use on board
This motor is a practical service part for cruising boats, fishing boats, and sailboats that rely on a Jabsco 37010 electric head and need to keep the existing toilet in service. It is most relevant when the bowl, base, and plumbing are still usable, but the electric motor no longer runs the toilet properly.
For the best result, confirm the sanitation system is clear and the toilet is not jammed before replacing the motor. Blocked discharge plumbing, a damaged impeller, or a seized macerator can overload a new motor and make the fault look like an electrical problem.
