Installation and routing

Measure the cable path on the boat rather than the straight-line distance, and account for routing through rigging tubes, chases, and bulkhead pass-throughs. Leaving a small service loop at each end makes future service easier and reduces strain at the connections.

Secure the run so it cannot rub or vibrate against fiberglass edges, and keep it separated from high-current wiring when possible.

Compatibility and fit

This cable is used when a JL Audio MediaMaster source unit is paired with wired remote controllers that connect through the non-NMEA 2000 remote interface.
