Overview

The Garmin Navionics U.K., Ireland & Holland is an electronic chart region for compatible Garmin chartplotters, covering the U.K. and Ireland plus nearby waters and key parts of Holland and surrounding coasts.

This region supports day-to-day navigation and trip planning with features such as Auto Guidance+ route suggestions, depth range shading with up to 10 selectable shaded ranges, and contour detail shown with up to 1' increments in many areas. A one-year subscription is included, with access to daily chart updates during that period.

Depending on the version, you may also have premium map views such as high-resolution relief shading, satellite imagery, aerial photography, and 3D views that help with situational awareness around bottom structure and marina approaches.

Variants

This product is offered in multiple configurations. The version changes the mapping feature set, and the format changes how you receive and load the chart.

Vision+ uses chart code NVEU628L and includes premium imagery and 3D views. Navionics+ uses chart code NSEU628L and focuses on core chart layers, contour detail, shading tools, and routing features. Built-in Chart Updates use chart code BUEU628L and are intended for select chartplotters that shipped with built-in BlueChart g3 coastal charts or LakeVü g3 inland maps.

• 010-C1271-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. This is the physical chart card option for chartplotters with a compatible card slot.
• 010-D1873-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. This option is delivered digitally and is installed from a computer using Garmin Express.
• 010-C1271-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. This is the core mapping version on a physical card, with the included one-year update subscription.
• 010-D1873-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. This is the core mapping version delivered digitally and installed from a computer using Garmin Express.
• 010-13181-00: Version Built-in Chart Updates; Format microSD/SD. This option is used to update certain compatible Garmin chartplotters that came with built-in mapping for this region.

It also includes areas such as the Thames River, IJsselmeer, Waddenzee, and the Kiel Canal, with ports that include London, Liverpool, Southampton, Edinburgh, and Belfast, along with Dublin, Cork, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, and key Channel and North Sea ports.

Installation and updates

For microSD/SD versions, the chart is read directly from the card in the chartplotter card slot. For download versions, the chart is installed from a computer using Garmin Express, which transfers the region to supported hardware.

During the included one-year subscription, you can access daily chart updates and downloaded content for the region. After the first year, continuing to pull new updates requires an active subscription.

Use on board

This region is a good fit for boats that regularly cruise the English Channel, Irish Sea, and North Sea, as well as skippers who want detailed port and marina context for trip planning. The depth shading and contour detail also help when you are working tidal waters, looking for structure, or planning routes around shallow areas.
