Overview
The TACO Marine M20-2413 is a low-profile manual seat slide for helm chairs and benches in the 29" to 40" width range. It gives the helm seat up to 5.5" of fore-and-aft travel across seven equally spaced locking positions, so the driver can move closer to the wheel and controls or slide back for more room at the console.
This 13" x 24" slide uses a precision-machined 6000-series aluminum chassis with high-strength polymer glides for movement that stays smooth without a loose, rattling feel. The front activation paddle moves with the seat, which keeps the release easy to reach from each position.
The unit is built for box-style marine seat applications and uses a universal mounting bolt pattern to simplify replacement or new installation. It has been tested to ABYC H31 standards and uses a double pin positive side lock to keep the seat secured when underway.

Installation and fit
This slide is a practical choice when updating a helm chair, leaning bench, or wider seating position where fixed mounting leaves the operator too close or too far from the wheel. The 13" x 24" format and box-application bolt pattern make it especially useful for console boats, cruisers, and fishing boats where helm space needs to work for more than one operator.
Before installation, confirm the seat width, base footprint, mounting surface, and clearance for the full 5.5" travel path. The slide should be mounted to a solid seating structure with hardware appropriate for the boat, the seat base, and the loads expected at the helm.
Onboard use
At the helm, small seat adjustments can make a real difference when switching between docking, running, fishing, and longer cruising. The seven locked positions give a controlled range of movement without relying on an electric actuator or a separate control switch.
This slide is a good match for boat owners replacing a worn manual slide or adding seat adjustment to a helm bench where simple mechanical operation is preferred. It suits installations where a low-profile slide, secure locking action, and straightforward manual adjustment matter more than powered movement.
Maintenance and care
For saltwater boats, rinse the slide area with fresh water as part of normal cockpit or helm cleanup, especially around the tracks and locking points. Keep the travel path clear of sand, debris, fishing line, and loose hardware so the glides and lock can move as intended.
