The Garmin Navionics Vision+ and Navionics+ South America North electronic chart series is a set of marine navigation charts covering the northern coasts and inland waters from Panama through northern South America, offered in both physical card and digital download formats. These charts work with compatible Garmin chartplotters and include a one-year chart update subscription via the ActiveCaptain app so you can access daily updates and the latest mapping data. Coverage shows coastal detail and inland lakes with multiple chart layers and target depth shading that makes reading bottom structure and hazards clearer on your display.

Variants

This chart series is offered in multiple configurations that vary by the mapping version and how you receive the chart data. The Vision+ variants are Garmin’s premium mapping option with the included subscription, and the Navionics+ variants provide core chart content under the same regional coverage. Each configuration is available either on a microSD/SD card you insert into your chartplotter or as a digital download you transfer via Garmin Express.

Installation and format options

If you prefer a chart card you can insert directly into a compatible chartplotter you can choose the microSD/SD variants. The download variants are delivered as files you install through Garmin Express and then transfer to your chartplotter or internal chart memory. Confirm your chartplotter supports the chosen format before purchase.

These charts are suited for coastal cruising, offshore runs, inshore navigation and fishing in the covered region.
