Overview
The Raymarine T910 is a nylon thru-hull combined speed, depth, and temperature transducer for Raymarine mn100 Micronet instrument systems. It puts three key sailing and cruising measurements into one underwater fitting, so the hull only needs a single standard 51 mm, 2-inch hole.
This transducer is a practical fit for sailboats and smaller cruising boats using Raymarine wireless instruments where depth, boat speed, and water temperature need to be sent into the Micronet system. It includes an internal temperature sensor and a 3 m cable, giving the installer a straightforward run from the thru-hull location to the connected instrument interface or hull transmitter.
Key features
- Combines depth, speed, and water temperature sensing in one thru-hull transducer.
- Made for use with Raymarine mn100 Micronet systems.
- Requires only one hull penetration, helping keep the installation cleaner below the waterline.
- Uses a standard 51 mm, 2-inch thru-hull hole size.
- Internal temperature sensor supports water temperature readings without a separate fitting.
- Supplied with thru-hull housing, blanking plug, and 3 m cable.
- Nylon thru-hull construction suits typical fiberglass hull installations when installed with proper below-waterline sealant.
Installation and setup
The T910 installs through the hull below the waterline, so location matters. It should be positioned where it stays in clean, aeration-free water while the boat is underway, away from turbulence caused by keels, strakes, intakes, propeller wash, or trailer bunks. On sailing boats, the fitting is commonly placed forward of the keel where it can read consistent flow across both tacks.
The 51 mm hole size keeps the installation familiar for marine installers and reduces the need for multiple separate fittings. Because this is a below-waterline component, bedding, tightening, and leak checks should be handled carefully before the boat returns to service.
Compatibility and fit
This unit is intended for Raymarine mn100 Micronet installations. It is a good match for boats that already use, or are being refitted with, Raymarine wireless instrument hardware and need hull data for depth, speed through water, and temperature.
It is not a general-purpose NMEA 2000 or chartplotter transducer by itself. Before ordering, confirm that the vessel has the correct Raymarine Micronet equipment to receive and display the data from this transducer.
Maintenance and care
Like any speed transducer with a paddlewheel, the T910 needs occasional cleaning to keep speed readings steady. Growth, slime, or debris around the insert can slow or stop the paddlewheel, especially in warm water or boats that stay in the water for long periods.
The supplied blanking plug is useful during cleaning or service, helping close the thru-hull opening while the insert is removed. Regular inspection during haul-out is also recommended so the face of the depth sensor and the speed paddlewheel stay clear.
