Overview
The Raymarine E15024 is an S100 wireless autopilot remote with a dedicated base station for basic onboard control of compatible Raymarine SeaTalk autopilot systems. It gives the helmsperson a practical way to make autopilot adjustments away from the fixed control head, useful when moving between the cockpit, deck, cabin, or a second steering position on a cruising or fishing boat.
The handheld S100 uses a two-line digital display with a graphical autopilot mode indicator, plus a 5-button keypad for common autopilot commands. Wireless operating range is up to 32 ft, or 10 m, from the base station, and the remote runs on two AAA alkaline batteries.
This kit is intended for SeaTalk-based Raymarine autopilot installations. SeaTalkng systems require the appropriate SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter kit, so existing network type should be checked before installation.

Installation and setup
The wireless base station connects to the boat’s SeaTalk network so the handheld remote can communicate with the autopilot system. Each remote is pre-registered to its base station, which keeps setup straightforward once the base station is connected and powered through the network.
For best onboard use, the base station should be mounted where the remote can maintain a clear practical signal around the helm and nearby working areas. On larger boats or installations with heavy structure between stations, range should be checked from the spots where the remote will actually be used.
Compatibility and fit
The S100 is for Raymarine SeaTalk autopilot systems and is a good match for boats where the skipper wants autopilot control without staying beside a fixed control head. It is especially useful on sailboats where the crew moves forward during sail handling, on fishing boats where the operator may work the cockpit, and on cruising boats where autopilot adjustments are often made from more than one place on board.
It is not a standalone autopilot and does not replace the course computer, drive unit, compass, or core autopilot system. The boat must already have a compatible Raymarine autopilot installation for the remote to control.
