Overview
The Garmin 010-10267-00 is a handlebar mount bracket that secures a compatible Garmin eTrex Series handheld GPS on a round bar for hands-free viewing. It fits bars up to 1 in (2.54 cm) in diameter, which covers many bike-style handlebars and helm-area rails found on small craft.
On a boat, this mount is a practical way to keep an eTrex visible for quick position checks, waypoint runs, or as a simple backup navigator without having the unit sliding around in a pocket or cupholder. It also makes sense on personal watercraft and other small vessels where a handlebar-style helm is the natural mounting point.
Key features
- Made to hold a compatible Garmin eTrex Series handheld GPS in a dedicated snap-in bracket
- Fits round bars up to 1 in (2.54 cm) diameter for common handlebar and rail mounting locations
- Mounting position keeps the GPS easy to glance at while leaving hands free for steering and throttle
- Helps reduce the chance of drops by keeping the handheld secured to the boat instead of loose on deck

- Mounting hardware
- Installation instructions
Compatibility and fit
This bracket is intended for Garmin eTrex Series handheld GPS units that match the mount’s snap-in interface. Before ordering, confirm your specific eTrex model is listed as compatible with this style of handlebar bracket and that the mounting surface is a round bar no larger than 1 in (2.54 cm) in diameter.
If you are mounting on a boat rail, choose a straight section where the GPS will not interfere with steering, throttle travel, line handling, or enclosure doors, and where you can still access the eTrex buttons and screen.
Installation and setup
Pick a location with a clear view from your normal helm position, then secure the bracket to the bar using the supplied hardware. After the first run, re-check the hardware for tightness, since vibration from outboards and chop can settle a new mount.
For open boats, it helps to place the unit where it is not taking constant spray and where it will not be hit by knees, tackle, or dock lines during routine movement around the console.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and grit off the bracket and fasteners with fresh water as part of normal washdown. Periodically inspect the mounting points and the snap-in area for wear, and re-tighten hardware if you notice any movement after trailering or rough-water runs.
