Overview
The Blue Sea Systems Waterproof DC Label Kit is a set of black square DC circuit labels for marking marine electrical panels, switch positions, and breaker layouts. The range includes 30, 60, and 120 label kits, with V1, V2, and Standard versions available, so the label set can match the size and style of the panel work on board.
The labels use reinforced, weatherproof material and are used on WeatherDeck Waterproof Panels and Battery Management Panels. They are a practical fit for helms, cockpits, flybridges, battery switch areas, and other DC panel locations where circuit names need to stay readable after washdowns, damp air, and regular handling.
Clear labeling matters when troubleshooting at the dock, checking a bilge pump underway, or handing the boat over to another operator. This kit helps make the DC system easier to understand without changing the panel hardware.
Key features
- Black square labels for DC circuit identification on marine panels
- Reinforced, weatherproof material for panel areas exposed to moisture and regular use
- Used on WeatherDeck Waterproof Panels and Battery Management Panels
- Works with all Blue Sea Systems circuit breaker blocks
- Available in 30, 60, and 120 label quantities, with V1, V2, and Standard kit versions
Variants
The product is offered in four configurations that vary by label quantity and kit version. The shared purpose across the range is DC circuit labeling for Blue Sea Systems panel and breaker layouts, while the selected kit determines how many labels are supplied and which version of the label set is included.
The 30-label versions fit smaller DC panels or focused battery-management layouts, while the 60- and 120-label versions give more coverage for boats with more circuits, multiple stations, or refit work across a larger panel.
- 4215: Label Quantity 30, Kit Version V1. A compact 30-label set for targeted DC panel labeling where the V1 label mix matches the circuits on board.
- 4216: Label Quantity 60, Kit Version Standard. A mid-size Standard set with more coverage for common helm, cabin, pump, lighting, and electronics circuits.
- 4217: Label Quantity 120, Kit Version Standard. The largest Standard set in this range, useful for larger panels, duplicate stations, or refits involving many DC circuits.
- 4218: Label Quantity 30, Kit Version V2. A compact 30-label set in the V2 version, commonly matched with battery main distribution and DC panel labeling needs.
Compatibility and fit
This label kit is meant for Blue Sea Systems panel labeling rather than general signage. It is especially relevant when replacing worn labels, updating a panel after adding circuits, or building a new DC distribution layout with Blue Sea Systems breakers and panels.
Before ordering, compare the circuit names in the selected kit version with the equipment on the vessel. Smaller boats may only need a focused 30-label kit, while cruisers, fishing boats, and sailboats with more electrical loads may benefit from the broader 60- or 120-label sets.
Installation and use
Apply the labels to a clean panel surface so each switch or breaker can be identified quickly. Good placement helps at night, during maintenance, and in urgent situations where a crew member needs to find the right circuit without tracing wires or opening the panel.
The labels are well suited for common DC loads such as bilge pumps, navigation lights, electronics, washdown pumps, cabin lights, radios, and battery-related circuits, depending on the selected kit version.
Care and maintenance
Keep the panel face clean with normal boat-safe cleaning methods and avoid harsh scraping around the labels. During seasonal checks or electrical upgrades, review the label layout so each breaker name still matches the actual circuit it controls.
