Overview
The Raymarine T70586 is an i70s sail instrument pack for adding wind, speed, depth, temperature, and navigation data to a SeaTalkNG or NMEA 2000 based helm. It combines the i70s multifunction color display with wind, speed/temperature, and depth transducers, plus the iTC-5 converter needed to bring analog transducer data onto the network.
The i70s display uses a 4.1 inch TFT LCD with 320 x 240 resolution, 16-bit color, and 1,200 cd/m2 brightness for cockpit readability in daylight and at night. Large characters up to 43 mm help make key sailing data easier to read from the helm, while the optically bonded screen helps reduce fogging and improves contrast in wet conditions.
This pack is built around 12 V DC operation, with the i70s display operating from 9 to 16 V DC and using about 1.7 W. It is a practical fit for sailboats upgrading older instruments or building a more complete cockpit data setup without moving straight to a full chartplotter-only display arrangement.

Installation and setup
The display is intended for surface mounting at the helm, cockpit bulkhead, or another position where the crew can read sailing data without leaving the controls. The included thru-hull speed/temperature and depth transducers require proper hull installation, so hull material, deadrise, access inside the boat, and haul-out timing should be checked before fitting.
The iTC-5 is the key link between the included analog transducers and the SeaTalkNG backbone. Once the transducers are wired into the converter and the backbone is powered, the i70s can show the data in digital, analog, or graphical pages depending on the chosen screen layout.
Compatibility and system integration
This pack works well when the boat already uses Raymarine SeaTalkNG instruments, autopilot components, or multifunction displays. It can also share data on NMEA 2000 networks with the correct SeaTalkNG to DeviceNet adapter, which is useful when mixing Raymarine instruments with compatible third-party sensors or gateways.
Because the display is a 12 V DC network device, it should be powered through a properly protected SeaTalkNG or NMEA 2000 backbone rather than connected directly to a 24 V supply. Boats with 24 V house systems should use the correct power conversion and network protection for the instrument backbone.
Use cases on board
This sailpack suits cruising and racing sailboats that need dependable wind angle, wind speed, boat speed, depth, and water temperature on a dedicated instrument display. It is especially useful at the helm, where the crew may want a dedicated data screen while a chartplotter is being used for navigation, radar, or route planning.
For refits, it is a clean way to replace aging wind, speed, and depth instruments while keeping the system ready for networked navigation data, engine data, environmental data, fuel data, or AIS information when those sources are present on board.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the display and exposed fittings with fresh water after saltwater use, especially around the keypad and display edges. Keep the transducers clean as part of regular bottom maintenance, since marine growth on speed or depth sensors can reduce the usefulness of the data shown at the helm.
