Overview

The Vimar Plana Series is a flush-mounted double push-button mechanism with two independent 1P NO contacts, rated for 10A at 250V. It closes two separate circuits at the same time, so it suits paired momentary switching tasks in a panel or bulkhead, but it is not intended for reversing motors such as blinds, shutters, or gates.

This built-in snap-in device uses a halogen-free thermoplastic body with a glossy finish and IP40 protection. Its compact 22.3 x 49 x 38.5 mm format helps when panel space is limited and two momentary controls need to sit in one neat switch position.

It is a practical match for interior control points on boats that use Vimar Plana hardware through the cabin, helm enclosure, or service areas. The integrated label space also helps where switch functions need to stay clearly identified at the panel.

Variants

This product is offered in two finish options within the same Plana double push-button format.

The electrical rating, dimensions, mounting method, and IP40 protection stay the same across the range. What changes between variants is the visible finish and color.

• VM14066: White finish, similar to RAL 9003. This version blends into white Plana trim and lighter interior panels.
• VM14066.SL: Silver finish, similar to RAL 9006. This version gives the control point a more technical look on darker panels or mixed-finish interiors.

Installation and placement

This mechanism is built for flush installation and snap-in fastening within the Plana modular system. Before ordering, check that the support, frame, and mounting arrangement on the boat match the Plana format already in use.

With an IP40 rating, it belongs in protected interior spaces rather than exposed deck areas, open cockpits, or washdown zones. On board, that usually means cabins, enclosed helm stations, utility panels, and other dry locations where a compact momentary control is needed.
