Overview
The Vimar VM08532 is a 4-standard-module mounting frame with screws for Vimar 8000 Series devices in a rectangular 4-module flush-mounting box, finished in black thermoplastic.
It sits behind the cover plate and keeps the modules aligned so switches, outlets, and accessory modules sit straight on the bulkhead. The frame fastens to the flush box with screws, and the modular mechanisms mount from the rear side.
It can be installed horizontally or vertically to match the orientation of the box and the layout of the panel.

Compatibility and fit
This frame is intended for 4-module rectangular flush-mounting boxes (unified format) used with Vimar 8000 Series modular devices. It supports four standard modules in a single row under a compatible cover plate.
It is not meant for 60 mm round boxes, DIN-rail mounting, or trunking and duct installations. Plan the install around a proper flush box and matching 8000 Series components so everything sits square once tightened down.
Installation and setup
Position the frame on the flush-mounting box, level it, and secure it with the supplied screws. Install the modular mechanisms from the rear side of the frame, then fit the matching cover plate on the finished surface.
On boats, it helps to do a quick pull-check on each installed mechanism before you close up the panel, then recheck fasteners after the first few trips if the mounting surface sees regular vibration.
Use on board
This is a good match for building a clean 4-module run for cabin lighting controls, galley power points, or a small switch bank at the nav station. In exposed areas such as a cockpit console, keep the frame fully covered by the plate and use devices and enclosures suited to spray, washdowns, and UV at that location.
Maintenance and care
Wipe with a damp cloth during routine cleaning. Avoid harsh solvents that can attack thermoplastics. If the panel is mounted where vibration is common, include the frame screws in your periodic electrical checks.
