Overview
The Garmin 010-02684-30 is a portable ice-fishing fishfinder and GPS bundle built around an ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv (7-inch WVGA touchscreen with keyed assist, 800 x 480 resolution) and a Panoptix PS22-IF live sonar transducer with LiveVü Forward and LiveVü Down views. It includes built-in Garmin Navionics+ U.S. Inland mapping with coverage for more than 23,000 lakes, plus a 1-year subscription for daily map updates, all in a carry bag system that measures 10.5 x 9.5 x 10.5 inches and weighs 12.2 pounds.
The PS22-IF setup uses a bracket, rotator, and a pole-mount-free layout, so you can move hole-to-hole without wrestling a long pole in the shelter. A snap-on removable lens lets you switch the sonar beam between wide and narrow, which helps when you want to scan a broader area or tighten up to track fish and your jig more precisely.
While it is built for the ice, the display itself is a full ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv platform with 500 W sonar output, built-in CHIRP (50/77/83/200 kHz) plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning (260/455/800/1000/1200 kHz), and connections for NMEA 2000 and a Garmin Marine Network port if you later integrate it on a boat.

Installation and setup
For ice use, the transducer drops through the hole on the bracket system, and the rotator handles aiming without needing a long pole. Once the transducer is in the water, the lens can be left off for a wider look or snapped on to narrow the beam when you want a tighter view under the hole.
The screen layout is flexible, so you can keep live sonar up while also watching mapping, routes, or waypoints. If you hop between spots, saving waypoints and tracks is a practical way to build a repeatable milk run on a lake you fish often.
Compatibility and fit
This bundle is set up around Garmin Navionics+ U.S. Inland coverage and is best matched to anglers who fish inland lakes and want live sonar plus GPS mapping in one carry system. The display supports a single microSD card (up to 32 GB), which is useful if you plan to manage data, transfers, or other compatible mapping content.
On a boat, the ECHOMAP UHD2 platform can be integrated into a wider Garmin setup through NMEA 2000 and the Garmin Marine Network port, and it also supports wireless features through built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If you move it from ice duty to seasonal boating, confirm your mounting plan and transducer choice for the hull and water type, since this kit’s PS22-IF hardware is built around through-ice use.
Electrical and system planning
The included battery makes it easy to run away from the dock, but it also helps to know the display’s draw when planning runtime. The ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv runs on 9 to 18 V DC, with a typical draw of 1.52 A at 12 V and a maximum draw of 3.2 A at 12 V, which matters if you are pairing it with additional accessories or using a different portable power setup.
If you hardwire it on a boat, keep the connection clean and protected, route the power away from high-noise wiring when possible, and leave enough slack for any quick-release or seasonal removal you plan to do.
