Overview
The Garmin Navionics+ Electronic Chart - NSEU645L, Skagerrak & Kattegat is a chart region for compatible Garmin chartplotters covering the Skagerrak and Kattegat plus the approaches. It is offered as either Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+ content, and each purchase includes a one-year subscription for daily updates through the ActiveCaptain app.
On the water, you get detailed nautical cartography with depth-focused tools that make sense for coastal cruising and fishing. Contours can display down to 1' in supported areas, and you can use depth range shading and shallow water shading to keep your eyes on the depths that matter for your route or your target species.
For planning, Auto Guidance+ can generate suggested routes using your chosen depth and overhead clearance along with chart data. It is a planning aid, so it should be used alongside normal seamanship and whatever your conditions demand.

Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the content level and delivery format to how you manage charts on your boat.
Across this listing, the options vary by Version (Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+) and Format (microSD/SD card or Download). The Navionics+ version uses chart code NSEU645L, and the Vision+ version uses chart code NVEU645L.
- 010-C1274-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. This is a physical card that goes straight into the chartplotter’s card slot.
- 010-D1876-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. This is installed to a microSD/SD card via Garmin Express for use in a registered chartplotter.
- 010-C1274-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. This keeps the same coverage while adding the Vision+ premium layers on a physical card.
- 010-D1876-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. This installs Vision+ coverage and layers to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express.
Compatibility and fit
These charts are in the Garmin Navionics format and are intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters. If your system uses Navionics cards for non-Garmin brands, this is a different product family and will not load the same way.
If you are replacing an existing card, matching the chart code and coverage area is the quickest way to confirm you are buying the same region again.
Installation and updates
For card versions, you insert the microSD/SD into the plotter’s chart card slot and select the chart layers from the plotter’s chart setup. For download versions, a computer is used to write the chart to a microSD/SD card, and that card is then used in the chartplotter.
During the included one-year term, updates and additional downloadable layers are handled through the ActiveCaptain app. Content already written to the card remains available after the subscription ends, but ongoing daily updates and any further downloads require an active subscription.
Use on board
Depth-focused shading is especially handy when you are running close to shore, crossing shoal areas, or trying to keep the boat in a consistent depth band for fishing. The Vision+ option can be useful when you prefer more visual references around ports and coastlines, especially in places you do not run every week.
This coverage makes sense for boats that routinely operate in the Skagerrak and Kattegat area and want a chart set that can be kept current through regular updates.
