This chart is used on compatible Garmin chartplotters and can be maintained during the subscription period using ActiveCaptain or Garmin Express, depending on the format.

Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations that vary by chart content level and delivery format.
The Version option indicates Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+, while Format indicates either a preloaded microSD/SD card or a download that is written to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express.

- 010-C1226-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. This option is supplied on a chart card for direct use in a chartplotter card slot.

Compatibility and fit
Fit depends on the chartplotter. Confirm your Garmin unit supports Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+ and has an available microSD/SD card slot. Download formats also require a computer running Garmin Express and a way to read and write the microSD/SD card.
Installation and setup
For microSD/SD card versions, insert the chart card into the chartplotter and select it as your active map. For download versions, write the chart to a microSD/SD card with Garmin Express, then insert that card into the chartplotter.
If you plan to use Auto Guidance+, enter your vessel details on the chartplotter first and treat any suggested path as planning guidance only. Local conditions and safe navigation practices still apply.
Updates and use on board
The included one-year subscription is tied to activation and access to daily updates. Registration of a compatible chartplotter is part of that process, and updates can then be managed through ActiveCaptain or Garmin Express.
This chart region is a good match for offshore runs, coastal cruising, and fishing along the West African coast, especially when you want depth shading tools and more detailed contouring while approaching unfamiliar ports and anchorages.
