Compatibility and fit
This is a 3-module cover plate for the Vimar Arké wiring device system. Confirm that your existing supports and mounting frame are for the Arké 3-module layout, and that your wall box or panel cutout is set up for a 122 mm by 90 mm plate footprint before ordering.
It is suitable for typical built-in installations and can also be used where Arké components are mounted in ducting systems or floor box applications, provided the mounting hardware behind the plate matches the 3-module Arké format.
Installation and setup
Isolate power to the circuit, complete the wiring and secure the devices in the mounting support, then align the plate and press evenly so the clamp points engage and the plate sits flat against the surface. If the plate rocks or gaps at the edges, re-check that the mounting frame is square and fully seated in the box or panel.
Because the plate does not provide sealing, use it in a location that stays dry or behind a separate protective door or cover if the panel area can be exposed to spray.
Use on board
This plate is a good match for boats where you want a consistent look across switches and outlets in the cabin, galley, nav station, or a sheltered helm. It also suits refits where the electrical function stays the same but the visible finish needs to match new interior materials and hardware.
Maintenance and care
