Overview
The Garmin Navionics Vision+ NVEU646L is an electronic chart region for compatible Garmin chartplotters, covering central and western Europe across coastal waters and many inland routes. It is available as a preloaded microSD/SD card or as a download that gets installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express. Each purchase includes a one-year subscription for daily chart updates and any additional content you download during that subscription period.
This region is offered in two content levels for the same coverage area: Garmin Navionics+ (chart code NSEU646L) and Garmin Navionics Vision+ (chart code NVEU646L). Vision+ adds premium chart layers beyond the standard Navionics+ content, so the right choice comes down to whether you want those extra overlays and views on your plotter.
Key features
- Central and western Europe coverage that combines coastal waters with inland content under one region
- One-year subscription included for daily chart updates and downloadable content during the subscription period
- Auto Guidance+ route suggestions on supported chartplotters, based on your configured safe depth and overhead clearance
- Depth Range Shading with up to 10 shaded depth bands to highlight the depth ranges you care about
- Garmin Navionics Vision+ adds Relief Shading, high-resolution satellite imagery, aerial photography, and 3D FishEye and 3D MarinaEye views on supported chartplotters
- Sold as either a preloaded microSD/SD card or as a download that is written to a microSD/SD card with Garmin Express
Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the content level and delivery format to your setup.
Version varies between Garmin Navionics Vision+ and Garmin Navionics+, and format varies between microSD/SD and Download. The coverage area remains Europe, Central & West across the listed options.
- 010-C1275-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. Preloaded chart card that runs directly from the chart slot on a compatible chartplotter.
- 010-D1877-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. Chart data is installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before inserting the card into the chartplotter.
- 010-C1275-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. Standard Navionics+ content for the same region when you do not need the extra imagery and 3D layers included with Vision+.
- 010-D1877-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. Installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, which is handy when you prefer a download workflow.
Coverage area
Europe, Central & West includes detailed coverage of central and western Europe. Coverage includes the European coast from the Szczecin Lagoon to Monaco; the Azores; Madeira; the Canary Islands; the Balearics; Corsica and Sardinia; Gibraltar; the English Channel; the Channel Islands; the IJsselmeer; the rivers of France, Germany and the Low Countries; and Lakes Maggiore, Como, Garda, Geneva, Constance and Balaton.
Compatibility and setup
This product is made for compatible Garmin chartplotters that accept Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography. For microSD/SD versions, the card stays in the chartplotter while you use the charts. For download versions, plan on having a computer with Garmin Express and a microSD/SD card available so you can load the region before heading to the dock.
If you rely on route suggestions like Auto Guidance+, set up your vessel profile carefully, including safe depth and overhead clearance, so the guidance matches how and where you run your boat.
Updates and day-to-day use
The included subscription covers daily updates for one year, which is useful in areas where buoyage, marina details, and soundings change over time. After the subscription period ends, the charts already on the card remain usable, but access to the daily update stream and additional downloads requires an active subscription.
Use on board
This region makes sense for skippers moving between North Sea, Channel, Atlantic, and western Mediterranean ports who want one chart region rather than swapping cards mid-season. It also suits inland cruising where you might bounce between rivers and large lakes and still want consistent chart presentation on the same plotter.
