Overview
The Garmin Force Pro is a bow-mount electric trolling motor with a choice of 50" or 57" shaft lengths for different boat sizes and deck configurations, featuring up to 100 lbs of thrust and advanced positioning and sonar technology.
It has a brushless motor that runs quietly and efficiently on 24 V or 36 V systems, a built-in GT56UHD-TR scanning transducer that shows high-definition sonar returns around your boat, and multi-band GPS positioning that holds your spot or follows routes when connected to compatible chartplotters or smart devices.
The scissor-style mount includes dual gas springs and a durable pull cable to assist deployment and stowing, and the unit is built for use in freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater environments with corrosion protection and an IPX7 water rating.
Key features
- Choice of 50" or 57" shaft length to fit different bow heights and boat sizes
- Brushless motor with up to 100 lbs of thrust for smooth propulsion and quiet operation
- Built-in GT56UHD-TR high-definition scanning sonar for underwater imaging
- Multi-band GPS positioning for anchor lock, heading hold, and route following
- Wireless control via included foot pedal, remote with gesture control, or compatible chartplotter
- Scissor-style mount with dual gas springs and pull cable for easier deployment and retraction
- Lighted direction indicator on shaft cap for low-light orientation
- Designed to resist corrosion and rated IPX7 for marine environments
Variants
This trolling motor is offered in multiple shaft lengths that change how far the lower unit reaches below the deck while the core features remain consistent across options.
Each variant uses the same brushless power unit, sonar, GPS positioning, and mount style, with the shaft length being the primary difference to suit different boat configurations.
- 010-03011-00 – 50" shaft: a shorter shaft length that can be easier to stow and works well on boats with lower bows or smaller draft requirements.
- 010-03011-10 – 57" shaft: a longer shaft that reaches deeper waters, useful on higher bows or where deeper immersion of the lower unit helps performance.
Compatibility and fit
Measure your bow height and deck setup to choose the right shaft length so the propeller and transducer stay submerged at speed and when stationary. Both variants work on 24 V or 36 V systems and integrate with Garmin chartplotters and certain smartwatches for navigation and control around the boat.
Installation and setup
The scissor mount comes with hardware to attach to the bow, and the dual gas springs plus pull cable help lift and lower the motor without straining. Route power and control cables away from sharp edges and secure connections on a 24 V or 36 V battery bank with appropriate circuit protection and grounding, keeping in mind the marine environment to reduce corrosion over time.
