Overview
The Raymarine T104-916 is a Micronet wireless speed, depth, wind and NMEA instrument system for sailboats that need core sailing data without running display cables through the hull or down the mast. This 916 MHz package combines digital and analog instrument displays with wireless wind, hull, speed, depth and NMEA interface components, giving the helm and cockpit access to the data sailors use most often under way.
The system uses Raymarine Micronet wireless technology and solar-powered displays with integrated lithium batteries, so the visible instrument stations do not need power cabling at the display locations. The displays can run for up to 300 hours from a full charge, and the sealed instrument construction is rated for submersion to 10 m, which suits exposed cockpit and deck installations where spray, rain and washdowns are part of normal use.
The included NMEA interface connects compatible wired marine electronics to the Micronet network using NMEA 0183, making this package useful when speed, depth and wind data need to work alongside a GPS, chartplotter, autopilot or navigation computer that supports the same data standard.
Key features
- Wireless Micronet instrument package for speed, depth, wind and NMEA 0183 integration on sailing vessels
- 916 MHz version for regions that use the 916 MHz Micronet frequency band
- Solar-powered wireless displays with integrated lithium batteries and up to 300 hours of autonomous operation from a full charge
- Sealed instruments rated for submersion to 10 m, helping protect the displays from spray, rain and washdown exposure
- Includes both a dual digital display for data such as speed and depth and an analog display for wind information
- Wireless wind transmitter reduces the need to run instrument wiring down the mast
- Hull transmitter connects the speed and depth transducers into the Micronet wireless instrument network
- NMEA 0183 interface supports connection with compatible wired marine electronics, including GPS receivers, chartplotters, autopilots and navigation PCs
What’s included

- T120 Micronet wireless wind transmitter
- T121 Micronet hull transmitter
- T122 Micronet wireless NMEA interface
- T911 speed and temperature transducer
- T912 depth transducer
Installation and setup
This package is a strong fit for sailboats where pulling new instrument cable through a mast, liner or bulkhead would add time and complexity. The wireless display layout also helps when a cockpit has limited panel space, because the displays can be positioned where they are easy to read from the helm or trimming position.
The wind transmitter is mounted aloft, while the hull transmitter works with the through-hull speed and depth transducers. The NMEA interface is powered from the boat’s DC system and gives the Micronet network a path to compatible wired electronics that communicate over NMEA 0183.
Compatibility and fit
This is a sailing instrument system rather than a standalone chartplotter or display head for radar and sonar imaging. It is intended for boats that need measured wind, speed and depth data, with the added benefit of NMEA 0183 data sharing through the included interface.
Before installation, confirm that the 916 MHz version matches the vessel’s operating region and that any electronics being connected through the interface support the required NMEA 0183 sentences. For the transducers, check hull location, access inside the boat, deadrise considerations and clearance around the mounting area before cutting or replacing through-hull fittings.
Use on board
The T104-916 suits club racing, coastal cruising and performance-focused sailing where the crew needs wind angle, wind speed, boat speed and depth visible without a fully wired instrument refit. It is especially useful on boats where reducing mast wiring or adding data displays without major panel work is part of the installation goal.
