Overview
The Raymarine Wireless Multi Analog Display and Wind System is a wireless, solar-powered instrument range for viewing sailing data at the helm, cockpit, or companionway without pulling instrument wiring through the boat. It centers on the T112 Wireless Multi Analog Display, which combines an analog-style pointer with digital readout, and is offered either as a display-only unit or as a wind system with the T120 Wireless Wind Transducer.
The display works within Raymarine wireless instrument systems and can show apparent wind speed and angle, true wind speed and angle, VMG to wind, heading, course over ground, locked heading, tack course, and turn-to-waypoint data when the required transmitters or data feeds are present. The display is solar powered with up to 300 hours of autonomy, has 14 mm digits, three backlight levels, and a waterproof housing rated submersible to 10 m.
Key features
- Wireless data reception reduces the need to route cables through the mast, deck, or bulkhead.
- Solar-powered display with up to 300 hours of autonomy helps keep cockpit installation simple.
- Analog-style wind presentation with digital data readout gives sailors a quick view of angle and speed.
- Displays apparent and true wind data when the wind transmitter and required data sources are available.
- 14 mm digits and three backlight levels support use in daylight, low light, and night sailing conditions.
- Waterproof display housing is rated submersible to 10 m for exposed cockpit and deck areas.
- Optional T122 wireless interface allows NMEA connection with compatible third-party equipment.
- Frequency options cover 868MHz regions and 916MHz regions for the same display and wind system family.
Variants
This product family is offered in display-only and wind-system configurations, with separate 868MHz and 916MHz wireless frequency versions.
The main differences are the radio frequency version and whether the package is the T112 display only or the T101 wind system package with the T112 Wireless Analog Display and T120 Wireless Wind Transducer.
- T112-868: Frequency 868MHz, Configuration Display Only. This version is the T112 display for boats using the 868MHz Raymarine wireless instrument range, commonly associated with Europe.
- T112-916: Frequency 916MHz, Configuration Display Only. This version is the T112 display for boats using the 916MHz Raymarine wireless instrument range, commonly associated with the Americas, Asia, and Australasia.
- T101-868: Frequency 868MHz, Configuration Wind System. This package includes the T112 Wireless Analog Display and T120 Wireless Wind Transducer for a wireless wind setup in 868MHz regions.
- T101-916: Frequency 916MHz, Configuration Wind System. This package includes the T112 Wireless Analog Display and T120 Wireless Wind Transducer for a wireless wind setup in 916MHz regions.
Installation and setup
The wireless layout is well suited to sailboats where running a new cable down the mast would add labor, holes, or deck fittings. The display can be mounted where wind angle and speed are easy to read from the helm, while the wind-system configuration places the transmitter at the masthead to send wind data wirelessly to the instrument network.
For a clean installation, match the frequency version to the boat’s region and existing Raymarine wireless instruments. NMEA integration with other equipment requires the optional T122 wireless interface, so that part should be planned separately when the system needs to share data with non-wireless instruments or compatible third-party electronics.
Use on board
This range is a practical fit for cruising sailboats, club racing boats, and refit projects where wind data is needed without a full wired instrument replacement. The display-only versions suit an existing compatible wireless network, while the wind-system versions add the masthead wind transmitter needed for a complete wireless wind setup.
