This Perko 1045 Plug-In Type Base is offered in two pin configurations. The main difference is the number of electrical contacts, so matching the base to the pole light series and wiring layout is the key fit check.

Both versions share the stainless steel and black finish, 2-1/4 inch outside diameter, 0° pole rake, #8 screw mounting, waterproof snap-on cover, pigtail leads, and 3/4 inch pole fit with locking collar.

• 1045P0SDP: 2-pin version. This version matches Perko Fig. 1343, 1347, 1348, 1349, 1400, 1440, 1442, 1444, 1450, 1451, 1452, 1460, 1454, and 1470 Series all-round pole lights, as well as 1612 and 1616 Series bi-color pole lights.
• 104530SDP: 3-pin version. This version matches Perko 1211 and 1421 Series bi-color pole lights where the extra contact is required for the light circuit.

Compatibility and fit

This base is a fit-driven replacement part, so the number of pins and the pole light series should be checked before ordering. The 2-pin and 3-pin bases are not interchangeable simply by appearance, even though they share the same round stainless steel and black housing style.

The 0° rake keeps the pole upright relative to the mounting surface, making it appropriate for flat mounting areas where the pole light needs to sit straight. On curved or angled surfaces, the final pole angle depends on the deck surface where the base is installed.

Installation notes

Mount the base where the pole light has clear visibility and where the underside can be accessed for the pigtail leads.
