Overview
The Lumishore 010-04525-00 is an ORA TIX204 thru-hull underwater LED light that sits flush and outputs single-color green light on 12 V or 24 V DC boats. The beam is a focused 60 degree pattern, with a 5,300 fixture-lumen rating and a listed lumen figure of 11,925 for the series.
An internal driver is built into the light, so it runs from a standard on/off switch and does not need an external driver box. The housing is sealed to an IP68 water-ingress rating and uses a marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens for continuous submersion. Typical LED life is 50,000+ hours.
Installation is a true thru-hull with a 28 mm (1-1/8 in) shaft hole. The face is 65 mm in diameter with a low 9 mm profile at the hull, the shaft length is 167 mm, and it supports hull thickness up to 110 mm. The attached two-core power cable is 2 m (6 ft 6 in), and the insert module can be serviced from inside the hull when there is more than 7 inches of internal clearance.

What’s included
- One ORA TIX204 underwater light with built-in driver (green output)
Installation and setup
Mark the mounting point and confirm there are no internal obstructions before drilling. The shaft requires a 28 mm (1-1/8 in) hole, and the inner hull surface should be sealed properly before the thru-hull assembly is secured to prevent water intrusion into the laminate or core.
Keep the hull surface clean and free of grease before bedding the flange, and remove any antifoul around the mounting area. Avoid alcohol-based solvents during prep since they can affect sealants used at the hull interface. After tightening, align the module flats vertically so the insert seats correctly.
A bonding connection is provided on the light for boats with a bonding system. When an isolation sleeve kit is used for hull isolation, follow the sleeve instructions and do not bond the light.
Electrical and system integration
This light connects to DC power through its two-core cable and is controlled by a standard on/off switch. Use a properly sized fuse or breaker based on the current draw and your wiring run, and keep voltage drop under control on long runs, especially on 12 V systems.
For wire sizing, common guidance is to limit voltage drop to 3% on 12 V DC circuits and 10% on 24 V DC circuits for lighting loads. If the factory cable is not long enough, make splices in a dry, protected location with marine-grade connectors and watertight strain relief.
Placement and use on board
The ORA TIX204 format supports transom, hull-side, or bottom mounting, so it can work on everything from center consoles to cruisers that have the inside clearance needed to service the insert module. Green underwater lighting is often used around the dock and at anchor, and it is also common for anglers who like a green wash around the boat at night.
Maintenance and service
Rinse the lens and face after saltwater use and clean with mild soap and water when needed. Periodically inspect the bedding line at the hull and check for any signs of movement, damage, or leakage.
Service access is from inside the hull, so the insert module can be removed without hauling the boat when the light is installed with adequate internal clearance. When opening for service, keep the sealing surfaces clean and confirm the O-ring is seated properly before reassembly.
