Overview
The Jabsco 37010-Series is an electric toilet base conversion kit for replacing the manual pump base on compatible marine toilets and adding push-button flushing. It is used with existing marine toilet bowls that follow the standard 4-hole base pattern on a 3-3/4" (9.5 cm) bolt circle, making it a practical refit option for many sailboats, cruisers, and fishing boats where the bowl and plumbing layout are still serviceable.
The kit combines a flexible impeller flush pump with a discharge macerator and bowl scavenger pump. The flush pump is self-priming with vertical lift up to 4 ft (1.2 m), while the discharge macerator can work against a vertical head up to 4 ft (1.2 m). Plumbing connections support 5/8" (16 mm) or 3/4" (19 mm) inlet hose and 1" (25 mm) outlet hose, with an adaptor for 1-1/2" (38 mm) waste plumbing.
This conversion kit is available in 12V and 24V versions, so the boat's DC system voltage is the key selection point. It is suitable for installations above or below the waterline when the intake and discharge plumbing are set up correctly for the vessel, including vented loops where needed to protect against flooding.
Key features
- Converts compatible manual marine toilets to electric push-button operation while retaining a suitable existing bowl.
- Works with the common 4-hole toilet base pattern on a 3-3/4" (9.5 cm) diameter bolt circle.
- Flexible impeller flush pump is self-priming with vertical lift up to 4 ft (1.2 m).
- Discharge macerator and bowl scavenger pump help move waste toward the holding tank or discharge system.
- Supports 5/8" (16 mm) or 3/4" (19 mm) inlet hose and 1" (25 mm) or 1-1/2" (38 mm) waste plumbing with the supplied adaptor.
- Through-flow is approximately 1-1/2 quarts (1.4 liters) per 5 seconds of operation.
- Permanent magnet motor is fully enclosed and uses a stainless steel shaft.
- Complies with USCG 183.410 and ISO 8846 MARINE for ignition protection.
Variants
The product is offered in two voltage configurations. The main difference between the versions is the DC motor voltage, so the selection should match the boat's toilet circuit and battery system.
The base kit layout, plumbing approach, and conversion purpose remain part of the same 37010-Series family across both versions.
- 37010-0092: Voltage 12 Volt. This version is for boats using a 12V DC electrical system for the toilet circuit.
- 37010-0097: Voltage 24 Volt. This version is for vessels with a 24V DC toilet circuit, often found on larger boats with higher-voltage house systems.
Compatibility and fit
The 37010-Series can convert many marine toilets that use the standard bowl configuration with a 3-3/4" (9.5 cm) bolt circle and a 4-hole base pattern. Compatible examples include Raritan PH or Compact, Wilcox-Crittenden Head Mate, Groco HC, Brydon 9127, Brydon 9128, Brydon 59128, and Jabsco 29090 and 29120 series toilets.
Fit should be checked against the existing bowl and surrounding space before installation. Overall height after conversion may increase by up to 1" (25 mm) on some models, which matters when the toilet sits under a seat, berth platform, or tight molded compartment.
Installation and setup
The conversion replaces the manual base assembly with the motorized base, then connects the existing intake and discharge hoses to the new pump ports. Hose runs should be kept free of sharp bends and restrictions so the flush pump can prime properly and the macerator can discharge without unnecessary load.
For toilets installed below the waterline, or where the rim or plumbing may fall below the waterline at any angle of heel or trim, vented loops are important. A vented loop with a solenoid valve is used in the intake hose, and a vented loop should also be used on the discharge side when connected to a thru-hull fitting.
Use cases on board
This kit is a strong match for owners who want electric flushing without replacing an entire compatible toilet. It works well in heads where the bowl, seacocks, hose routing, and mounting area are already in good condition, but the manual pump base is due for an upgrade.
It is also useful during sanitation refits where the goal is to modernize operation while keeping the installation footprint close to the existing layout. Matching the voltage version to the vessel is essential before ordering or wiring the unit.
