Overview
The Garmin 010-11921-24 is an archery bow mount that replaces your bow stabilizer and gives you a fixed point to attach a VIRB or VIRB Elite action camera. The mount measures about 3.2 in long by 0.7 in wide and weighs about 0.7 oz.
It threads into the bow’s stabilizer port, so installation feels the same as fitting a stabilizer. This is an archery accessory for a bow and arrow setup, not a mounting option for the bow of a boat.
The camera and the VIRB or VIRB Elite cradle are sold separately, so plan on having the correct cradle ready before you rig it up.
Key features
- Replaces the bow stabilizer and mounts by threading into the stabilizer port
- Compatible with VIRB and VIRB Elite action cameras
- Compact size: about 3.2 in long by 0.7 in wide; about 0.7 oz
- Works with the VIRB or VIRB Elite cradle (cradle and camera sold separately)
- Front-of-bow camera position captures draw and shot while keeping hands free
Installation and setup
Remove the stabilizer from the front stabilizer port, then thread the mount into the same location and snug it down the way you would a stabilizer. Once the mount is secure, attach the camera cradle to the mount and lock the camera into the cradle.
Before heading into the field, do a few slow draws and confirm nothing contacts the string, cables, rest, quiver, or your hand position. Recheck tightness after a short practice session since vibration from shooting can settle hardware.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is intended for bows that accept a stabilizer in the front stabilizer bushing. Fit can vary with riser geometry and accessory layouts, so clearance checks matter, especially if you run a quiver close to the riser or use a large sight housing.
Camera fit depends on using the correct cradle for the VIRB or VIRB Elite. If you have the camera but not the cradle, the mount alone will not provide a direct attachment point for the camera body.
Use cases
This setup is a good match for archers who want repeatable point-of-view footage for hunting, range practice, and 3D shoots while keeping their head and chest clear of straps. It also works well when you want the camera angle aligned with the bow rather than your helmet or hat.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the mount down after use, especially if it has been exposed to mud, rain, or dust. Check threads and mounting points occasionally and keep them free of grit so you can tighten the mount consistently without cross-threading.
