Overview
The TACO Marine P03-074W is a white 4-rod deluxe pontoon boat rod and tackle rack made for keeping rods and reels within easy reach while freeing up deck and seating space. It holds up to four rods and works with both spinning and conventional tackle, making it a practical storage point for pontoon anglers who want gear organized before the next drift, cast, or run across the lake.
The rack is made from UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene, a good fit for exposed boat areas where sun, spray, and regular washdowns are part of normal use. Stainless steel fasteners help reduce rust and corrosion concerns, and the rack measures 4 in. deep by 24-1/4 in. long for a compact surface-mounted layout.
Key features
- Stores up to four rods for quick access on pontoon boats and fishing setups with limited open deck space.
- Handles spinning and conventional tackle, so mixed rod and reel setups can stay together in one rack.
- UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene construction suits exposed cockpit, rail, or pontoon furniture areas.
- Stainless steel fasteners help resist rust and corrosion in wet marine environments.
- White finish blends well with many pontoon interiors, seat bases, and fiberglass or vinyl trim areas.
- Compact 4 in. depth helps keep rods organized without taking over usable seating or walkway space.
- Easy assembly supports a straightforward installation before a day on the water.
- Made in the USA.
Installation and fit
This is a surface-mount rod and tackle rack, so placement should be planned around rod length, reel clearance, passenger movement, and access to nearby storage compartments. On pontoons, common locations include side panels, seat bases, console areas, or other flat mounting surfaces where rods can stay upright and away from foot traffic.
Before drilling, check that the mounting surface has enough backing strength and that rods will not interfere with gates, covers, bimini frames, or dock lines. The 24-1/4 in. length is useful for confirming available space, while the 4 in. depth helps check clearance where passengers move around the boat.
Use on board
This rack is a good match for pontoon owners who fish with multiple rod setups and want them staged, separated, and easy to grab. It is especially useful for casual fishing days, family outings, and dockside rigging when loose rods can quickly clutter seating areas or create snag points.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the rack and fasteners with fresh water after use in salt or brackish conditions, and wipe away bait residue, sunscreen, and grime before storage. Periodically check the mounting hardware for tightness, especially after trailering or running in chop, since vibration can loosen fittings over time.
