Overview
The Vimar VM20627 is a 2-module Eikon mounting frame for panel mounting, supplied with fixing screws. It sits behind a 2-module Eikon round or square cover plate and gives you a solid base to mount Eikon device modules on a switch panel, bulkhead, or console. The frame measures about 135 x 34.6 mm and is made from thermoplastic.
On board, this is the small part that keeps a Vimar Eikon outlet, switch, or charger module properly aligned in a cutout so the finished plate sits clean and tight. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically, depending on how the cover plate is oriented.

Compatibility and fit
This frame is for the Vimar Eikon system in a 2-module format. Confirm your cover plate is an Eikon 2-module plate (round or square style) and that your panel cutout and backside clearance match the device modules you are installing. The frame is intended for panel mounting rather than standard 60 mm round wall boxes.
Installation and setup
Position the frame in the panel opening, align it for the final plate orientation, and secure it using the supplied screws. Once the frame is fixed, install the Eikon modules from the front side and finish with the matching cover plate.
For thin fiberglass or composite panels, it helps to use a backing plate or threaded inserts so the screws stay tight under vibration. Leave enough wiring slack for service, and strain-relieve cables so the module terminals are not carrying load.
Use on board
This is commonly used when building or refreshing a helm switch panel, adding a cabin charging point, or cleaning up a loose-fitting Eikon install where the modules need better support behind the plate.
Maintenance and care
After the first few trips, recheck screw tightness. If the panel area gets salt spray, a quick wipe-down during routine cleaning helps keep hardware and surrounding finishes looking good.
